According to Sosa, the Rzedow- skis feel that a “fundamental priority” for botanists everywhere is the comple- tion of a flora of the world. The Rzedowskis were recognized for writing an impres- sive catalog of the flora of one of the world’s largest metropolitan areas (see related article, page 10).
